Welcome to the library
To access the BCM Library Brochure, click here.
Our Library provides information, resources and services to support the training and education programmes of Booth College of Mission and the mission of The Salvation Army in New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa.
It is also a valued resource to other members of our communities, with membership options for Salvation Army corps attendees, students from other Bible Colleges, Christian ministers and church members from other denominations.
Salvation Army officers, staff, employees, corps members, adherents and regular attendees, and Laidlaw College students are eligible for free membership. Other memberships options have a one-off $50 joining fee.
Membership provides access to our physical and digital resources. We hold around 20,000 physical resources, from a range of topics and collections. These include theology, bible commentaries, devotions, Christian life, history, pastoral resources, magazines, children’s books, worship resources, biographies, DVDs, kits, and more! Browse our catalogue to see what resources you are interested in.
Our digital collections can be used from any location. Our physical collections can be borrowed when visiting the library in person or may be borrowed by post (postal charges apply).
The library is normally open Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 3.30 or 4.00 pm (except public holidays), and our friendly librarians can help with your borrowing and research needs.
Any changes to the normal opening times and days are posted to the library website, please check this before visiting.
