Welcome to the library
Our Library provides information, resources and services to support the training and education programmes of Booth College of Mission and the mission of The Salvation Army in New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga and Samoa.
We also welcome members of the wider community, including Salvation Army corps adherents and regular attendees, students from other Bible colleges, Christian ministers, and church members from other denominations.

Membership
Free membership is available for:
- Salvation Army officers, staff, employees, corps members, adherents, and regular attendees
- Laidlaw College students
Community membership is available with a one-off joining fee of $50. Membership includes access to both physical and digital resources.
Our Collections
We hold approximately 20,000 physical resources, including:
- Theology and Bible commentaries
- Devotions and Christian living
- History and biographies
- Social issues
- Pastoral and worship resources
- Magazines, children’s books, DVDs, kits, and more
Browse our online catalogue to explore the physical collection, and use the database links provided to login and explore our digital resources.
Physical items can be borrowed by visiting the library or requested by post (postal charges may apply).
Digital resources can be accessed from anywhere. If you have an existing TSA organisational account, you can use this to login to the databases without signing up to the Library.
Opening hours
The library is available during campus opening times Monday to Friday.
Librarians are available onsite Monday to Wednesday 9.00am to 4.00pm, and by appointment or over email/teams Thursday and Friday (excluding public holidays).
